The brewing guide
Make it your own.
- 01
Fill the base with just-off-boil water to just below the safety valve.
- 02
Fill the 3-cup basket with about 16 g of coffee. Level it without tamping and assemble carefully; the base will be hot.
- 03
Set on medium-low heat with the lid open and watch the coffee rise.
- 04
Take it off the heat as the flow turns pale, before it sputters. Cool the base briefly under a tap to stop extraction.
- 05
Pour into a cup and enjoy as is, or soften with hot water.
